The Meeting House Intimate Wedding, Carillon Beach, FL || Clint + Alex

Such an elegant and classy day with Clint + Alex at The Meeting House in Carillon Beach, FL. There was rain in the forecast but we were able to do their dances and head to the beach for some photos before the rain came. Alex + Clint wanted a wedding that was relaxing and simple. They actually live in Nashville and chose to have their wedding in Carillon Beach to make a vacation out of their wedding!

There are some photos in the gallery that really give me that Old Hollywood feel, specifically the black & white reception photos. Another element of the day was that everyone was encouraged to wear black but had Alex’s mom and grandmother wear white. It made everyone look very coordinated. They kept the colors and theme very classic all around, including white flowers with greenery. It kept the entire color palette of the day very simple and classic.

Something that was incredibly special for them was that Clint’s dad officiated the ceremony. Alex also wanted a lot of candid photos throughout the day, specifically of her grandmother. It was so special how involved the families were on the wedding day.

I always encourage my couples to leave plenty of time to take photos at their venue especially if they want a relaxing wedding. This gives you a break during the day from the stress and chaos to spend time together as husband and wife!
