Hey, I’m Kayla!
I’ve been a wedding and family photographer for almost 10 years now and am based in the Florida Panhandle. I love traveling across the U.S. to capture love stories in the most laid-back, intimate, and real way possible. I’ve been shooting with film too for 15+ years now and it’s probably my most favorite to shoot with.
For me, the experience of the day matters just as much as the photographs themselves. When you revisit your images years from now, you won’t just see what the day looked like. You’ll remember how it felt. After a decade of documenting weddings and families, I’ve found that the most powerful images come from genuine moments: when you feel comfortable, present, and fully embrace the people around you. My approach is thoughtful and unobtrusive, allowing your story to unfold naturally while preserving it in a timeless way.

Photography isn’t just a title for me, and it’s not the only role I hold. I’m also a mom, and that shapes so much of how I see and document the world. It’s taught me to notice the fleeting moments, the in-between, the things you don’t realize are meaningful until they’ve passed. That perspective naturally carries into my work, allowing me to approach each story with both care and intention.
FAITH
My faith is a quiet foundation in my life and in my work. It shapes the way I see connection, commitment, and the meaning behind the moments I document. It’s not something I place on others, but something that gently guides how I serve and create.
ARTIST
At my core, I’m an artist. I approach each wedding with care and intention, creating imagery that feels refined, natural, and inspired by the softness of film. These are photographs meant to last, not just for today, but for generations to come.
OUR FAMILY - DEC ‘22
Enjoy this video of our little family by Lother Co. In the cooler months, you can usually find us outside and roaming around our family’s property. Hairstyles have changed, kids have grown, but this heirloom video shows the fun we still have together and how we enjoy just being with each other. Having these little moments captured on photo and video is priceless.
