Let me tell you a bit about myself. I'm a wedding photographer located in the beautiful Florida Panhandle. I like watching people do something new first before I do it. I married an absolutely incredible man, David Law, in 2014 and I grow more in love with him every day! I love traveling and exploring new places, especially if David gets to go with me. The things I am most passionate about in life are my family and spending every moment that I can with them.
I love creating authentic moments with my couples and shooting them in their natural environment, whether that's with their toes in the sand, hiking up a mountain, or cuddled up on their couch. You don't want to do your session or wedding somewhere you'd never go or wear an outfit that just doesn't feel like you.
These photos will last you a lifetime and they need to be accurate representations about how you felt and how passionately you loved each other, even though your love grows every day. I can't wait to dance at your reception and celebrate your intimacy and love for each other!
My birthday is October 13.
I'm a native Floridian, a rare species.
I hate coffee, but if you want to go to Starbucks with me they have some really good muffins and hot chocolate! Btw, I love chocolate.
I have an AA in Graphic Design and BA in Studio Art.
My husband and I adopted the sweetest dog ever, Luna Bug, a month after we got married.
My hobbies include crafting, swimming, and baking cookies with my son.
I am a Christ follower.
I play the piano, mostly by ear.
I lived in the same house for 20 years and now I'm living in it again with my little family.
My favorite color is hunter green. My camera bag, favorite jacket, hat, rain boots... they're all hunter green!
Q + A
Q: HOW DO I BOOK YOU?
A: Call me, send me an email, or text me to schedule a free consultation. Once we talk and figure out what all you need, you’ll sign a contract and pay a 50% scheduling retainer.
Q: CAN YOU TRAVEL?
A: Absolutely! I am located in the Florida Panhandle, but I would be happy to travel to you. If you need me to travel outside of the Florida Panhandle, I will add travel fees to your package.
Q: WHAT IF I ALREADY HAD AN ENGAGEMENT SHOOT?
A: I highly recommend doing another engagement shoot with me anyways. It will help you become more comfortable with standing in front of the camera and give us a chance to get to know each other before your wedding. And weddings booked for 6+ hours include a free engagement session.
Q: Do you have insurance?
A: Yes! I have it on all my equipment and liability insurance.
Q: HOW DO I POSE IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA?
A: You just be yourself and have fun! I want you to pretend like the camera isn't there and let me focus on all the details.
Q: Will you help me with my timeline?
A: Absolutely! It is a huge benefit for me and for you. I've photographed many weddings and I've planned many timelines. I know how long it takes to do everything you want and the best lighting to do it in at the right time of day.
Q: Do I get the raw files?
A: No, I never give anyone the raw files. The raw files are unfinished pieces of my work and I only give out the finished product. Whatever you've heard, you don't need the raw files anyways. I give you high-quality photos.
Q: HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET THE PHOTOS BACK?
A: For weddings and elopements, it takes up to 8 weeks. For sessions, it takes up to 4 weeks.
Q: CAN I PRINT MY OWN PHOTOS?
A: Yes! Although I highly recommend you ordering your prints through me to ensure you get the best quality prints. If you display any of your engagement photos at your wedding, please be sure to give me credit as the photographer.
Q: WHAT DO WE WEAR FOR PHOTOS?
A: I’ll send you a what to wear guide, but basically just wear something that is comfortable and your style. Be yourselves!
Q: HOW MANY IMAGES ARE INCLUDED?
A: As a minimum, for weddings, I deliver at least 50 per hour. I don’t put a set number on how many you will receive, but I never leave anything out. I don’t put a cap or a limit on what I will deliver. Every wedding is different and varies from the last and the numbers are always changing. For sessions I deliver 50+.
Q: WHAT IF WE NEED TO RESCHEDULE OUR SHOOT DUE TO WEATHER?
A: We can reschedule if weather is really that awful, but some of my favorite sessions ever have been on days with a little rain. And wind? pshh... wind is what I pray we get before every shoot! Embracing the weather makes for incredible photos. The only times I’ve rescheduled shoots due to weather is if my camera will be ruined by weather. We will make the decision together whether we need to reschedule or not.
Q: WHAT CAKE SHOULD WE GET?
A: Chocolate. The answer is always chocolate, haha.
