Rosemary Beach, 30a || Pat + Jenn

Pat + Jenn really wanted their engagement photos done in 30A. It is a super special place for them as they have traveled here for years! They live in St. Louis, MO right now and wanted their engagement photos in FL, so when Jenn’s parents invited them to crash the family vacation in Florida she immediately thought about their engagement photos!

Jenn really liked the idea of starting the session at a fancy restaurant because her and Pat love food and wine, and Edwards was all for it! We went on a weekday so we had an empty restaurant to shoot in. I absolutely loved shooting through the big window, it felt as if I was witnessing them have a moment together as a stranger. Shooting at Edwards brought a timeless, European vibe to the session. It was a warm, September day that was sunny (my absolute favorite) and it turned out to be so timeless and classic. Jenn told me when she found my website she loved the romance and timeless, classic style I bring to sessions, I’m so glad we could achieve that for them for their engagement session!

Pat + Jenn really wanted a journalistic approach to the session. So all throughout our time together I was asking them questions and having them interact with each other so I could stand back and photograph them in the moment.

They wanted this session to capture this special time in their lives. Being young and engaged and so excited for the future. They have been together since 2015 and hadn’t had professional photos taken and I felt so honored to be able to capture this time in their lives for them!

Rosemary Beach is absolutely gorgeous and a beautiful place for photos. Starting the session at a restaurant ended up being so fun and unique! If you’re interested in something like this for your session definitely come say hey!
