I love photographing families as they connect, love on each other, and explore the world with their littles. The best moments are where the kids are playing in the water, running in circles with each other, getting thrown in the air by Dad, and giving Mom the biggest hugs.
When it comes to family sessions, it's important to go with the flow and let the children lead the session. We will get more authentic moments captured and they will most likely be happier for longer when we are going at their pace. Instead of focusing on the perfect photo, focus on letting your kids’ personalities shine. They’ll never be this age again and having photos that represent who they are at this age will be cherished more than that perfect photo.

As a mom myself, I know how challenging it can be to get kids to look at the camera for just one “good photo”. But the most meaningful images often happen in the in-between moments. Many parents are surprised when their gallery arrives and it’s full of sweet, genuine moments they didn’t even realize were happening. Trust me, all it takes is a split second to capture something truly special.
