New York City

Where do I even begin with NYC?  I’ve already been a few times and I absolutely love it there! There’s just so much to do there that it’s impossible to see it all. I’m obsessed with food and New York has a lot of it, so it’s a good thing I have to walk everywhere after eating. It kind of cancels the calories that I just consumed, right? Don’t tell me otherwise, lol.

If you’re looking for big city vibes for your wedding or session, Manhattan and Brooklyn is most definitely the place to go. With a multitude of epic locations and venues, you can’t go wrong.

My favorite time of day to shoot sessions in NYC is sunrise, like this photo of Rob + Sam. We woke up super early, but the only people around us were bikers and joggers and we got to experience this insanely gorgeous, golden light. After the sun had risen quite a bit, we went further into the city.

So if you want to get married and explore this great city, let me know!

Have you been to NYC yet? Great, then you know what it’s like and how to navigate the city.

Haven’t been to NYC? I got you! I can help with figure out the best places to stay at, how to get around the city, and suggest plenty of amazing places to eat at.

I highly suggest staying in NYC for more than two days if you want to see a lot of sights. It’s a big city and since you have to walk everywhere or take a subway, it can quickly become exhausting.

Travel Tips:

  • Take the subway or walk. Don’t rent a car, cause you can get an Uber easily if you need to. They’re everywhere in Manhattan.

  • Fly into JFK. It’s the closest, most conveniently placed airport.

  • Don’t visit Times Square if you have to pick and choose. It’s not worth it.

  • You’ll need a whole day to see all of Central Park.
