I had so much fun with Sean + Mary at Fort Pickens for their wedding formals. I got to shoot their session both digitally and on film which I always love. We had a moment to pop some champagne and cut their cake on the beach. What I love about wedding formals is that it’s a chance to really slow down and take time to focus on portraits outside of the wedding day. Instead of taking time from the wedding day itself it can be nice to have a seperate time that is dedicated to getting those portrait shots.

Before their session, Sean + Mary told me they knew almost right away that they were the ones for each other. I love hearing the love stories of my couples and then getting to photograph them and see them interact during our time together. I love when couples choose to do something that feels unique to them!
